Our Partnering Schools

Chancellor photoWe meet with our schools and the business, association, or organization they've been paired with to define mutual goals and objectives for their unique mentoring programs.

Partnering schools select a school coordinator and form a mentoring support team including the Principal and Assistant Principal to advocate for their student mentees.

The school coordinator has several responsibilities:

  • recruits prospective mentees (starting in the 10th grade)
  • conducts a training session for mentees
  • distributes parental permission and photo consent forms
  • meets with mentors and answer questions about the school
  • works closely with the mentor coordinator to match mentees with mentors
  • communicates regularly with mentees in weekly or bi-weekly group meetings
  • plans activities and events with mentor coordinators
